What the Tensology website stores and how you can control it

Cookie and Storage Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. This notice covers tensology.com, xtract.tensology.com, and systems.tensology.com. These sites may also use local storage, which keeps information in your browser without sending it with every request. A first-party cookie is set by the Tensology site you are using. A third-party cookie is set by another domain, such as an embedded tool. We do not use session-replay tools.

What we use

  • Strictly necessary technologies: security and CSRF protection, authentication, customer portal sessions, service continuity, and privacy preference records.
  • Functional storage: settings that you request, such as interface preferences. Disabling these may cause a feature to forget your choice.
  • Analytics: analytics may be used to understand aggregated site performance, but non-essential analytics must not be enabled until the required choice is recorded.
  • Marketing: marketing technologies are not required to use the site and must remain disabled unless you make the required choice.

Consent manager

We use a consent management service to display choices and retain a record of them. The consent record itself is necessary so that the website can remember and respect your selection. Service names and durations shown in the consent manager take precedence where they are more specific and current.

Your choices

Strictly necessary storage does not require marketing consent. You can accept or refuse non-essential categories in the consent interface. You can also delete site data or block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent login, forms, security controls, or preferences from working correctly. Where a duration is shown in the consent manager, that duration is the current one.

To change a recorded choice, clear the cookies and site data for the Tensology site you are using and reload the page to display the consent interface again.
