Data Subject Requests

Access, correct, delete, or object to the use of your personal information

Exercise your POPIA rights

You can ask Tensology to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, request access, ask us to correct or delete qualifying information, object to qualifying processing, or withdraw consent. If the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, contact us and we will also handle the additional rights that law gives you.

How to submit a request

  1. Describe the information or processing concerned and the right you want to exercise.
  2. Include enough detail for us to locate the relevant record.
  3. Email the request to support@tensology.com with the subject "POPIA request".
  4. Use the Information Regulator's prescribed form where applicable.

Official POPIA forms include Form 1 for an objection and Form 2 for correction or deletion.

Identity and authority

We may ask for reasonable proof of identity or authority to protect the person whose information is involved. Do not send a full identity document unless we specifically request it and provide a suitable method. We will use verification information only for the request and retain it only as legally necessary.

Access to records under PAIA

A request for a record under the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) must use the prescribed Form 2 and explain the right you seek to exercise or protect. The process, record categories, possible fees, and contact details appear in our PAIA Manual.

Complaints

Please give us an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may also complain to the Information Regulator at POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za or use the Regulator's complaints process.
